#3 (Nostalgia I CHOOSE YOU!!!!)

So every once in a while I will get into these "moods", where I miss the past. If you were me you would understand why. I had the BEST childhood. I mean I got in so much trouble, and I remember times where I thought my life was gonna end. (These thoughts of my life ending came from Playstation Controllers being removed from my clutches). But these times are overlooked. I remember only the great times.

When I think of my childhood I think of the good old times at Ridgelea. That is where I spent most of my Summers as a child, with the lovely Bonny Glass.  (guy in crowd) "Who is Bonny Glass?"........ Who is Bonny Glass you ask? Well Bonny Glass is my great aunt, and might I add that she is a "Great Aunt". Not only did she put up with my crap as a pre-teen, but she removed it with baby wipes from my baby bottom in my toddler days. Ah yes we go way back, she is my homie. I honestly believe I wouldn't be the same person I am today, If she was not a part of my life. Thanks ya Aunt Bonny!

Not only did I spend these summers with Aunt Bonny, but I was accompanied with 3 more amigos. Cory Perkins, Jordan Perkins, and Kylea Powers. We spent most of our time making movies, playing with matchbox cars, playing Pokemon on gameboy and in real life. We had the best times. If I had the chance to re-do it all, I would pass, because its just so picture perfect.

Other than my reminiscent bologna, Step 1 of Operation "What the Foot"<(Read blog #1), is successful. Which is Moving Matt from Ohio to Kentucky so he can find a job. Tomorrow Matt and I are getting up bright and early to go check out some apartments in Fort Mitchell. so yeah.......

Ok so I have to tell people about something funny that happened to me today in American Government class. I am just sitting there listening to the Professor ramble on about politics and voting when he mentions the words "Exit Polling". I immediately burst into laughter. (guy in crowd) "Why did you burst into laughter?"........ Wanna know why? Well I watch Family Guy religiously. There is an episode where Lois cheats on Peter with  Bill Clinton. Before Lois leaves Bills house he asks her, "you up for a little exit pollin?". I thought it was funny but never got the full extent of that joke. That was until todays class and I found out that "exit polling" has to do with politics, so I laughed out loud in the middle of class. HAHAHAHA! Funny right?.......................... Shut up.

Exit Polling is a poll of the voters after they have exited the polling stations.

This Just In! Josh Powers actually got up at a decent time this morning. Records show that (Powers) woke up at approx. 9:12 a.m. on September 15th 2010, to go out for a morning jog. He successfully wrapped his wounded toe, put on a pair of kicks, and exited his house in Indepedence. Witnesses say that he began his run on Berlander and proceeded through the adjacent streets. Upon entering the street named Chinkapin, he tripped, thus re-injuring his already swollen toe. Officials say Powers was unaware of the pebble. When asked how the trip happened Powers answered, "Ya know honestly, it could have been anyone". Reporters say that if he had been running any faster it could have been deadly. I'm Somebody Fictional, with Blogger News.

Now that I got that off my chest.

Doing nothing all day exhausting. Since I work at home, which I like (Not complaining), there are times where I have nothing to do. So I do stuff like go for jogs, and watch Chuggington. (side-note) For those of you who dont know what Chuggington is, Its Thomas the Train Engine for toddlers today. I might be running in a Marathon next month with some family, and from the looks of that jog earlier, I am going to need to run a lot in the next couple weeks.

History of Rock n Roll started last night. Talk about a fun class. Already looking forward to it since me and my new pal Megan are trouble makers. Dancing and playing tricks on the professor ,(professionally). I overdid my first assignment. Freakin great!

I wonder why there are so many weird people at Wal-mart around midnight. Someone asked me if I had some spare shoe-polish. I gave them a "0_o" look.. Then they got a little smart with me when I said, "Who uses shoe-polish?"

#1 (Ah Yes! Procrastination... The Opening Blog.)

Inspired by my BROTHER, Matt Mead, I have decided to create a blog. I like these kinda things because I have SO MUCH to say and really nobody to say it to. Except for a few close friends. You know who you are. For the rest of you, read this.

Josh Powers is excited!!!! Why you ask? Because so much crap is going on!!! The Bengals season opener was today (38-24) and they lost. There are a lot of Bengals haters out there, and most will say they played awful today. I disagree with that statement. The DEFENSE played awful today. The offense was just great.

Although the Bengals lost, I still had something "awesome!!!" happen this weekend. I witnessed Joey Votto's first walk of home run. BEST RED'S GAME I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!! These first couple innings are always a bit boring. Suffered from reckless-leg syndrome. In extra innings Votto sent one straight into the left field stands. Just beautiful. Went to the game with "Ryan Neaves and Friends". Was a great time, especially the Pete Rose opening ceremony.

Enough about Sports. There is more than just sports going on.

I recently & finally (after 2 years) decided on a Major. (............. Drum roll .............) Middle Grades Education. Yes that is right! I want to be a Middle School teacher. Most of you will think "REALLY?!?! Josh Powers? Teacher?". I am super excited about this people!! I have talked/joked about it in the past but I am now taking it seriously. I just love helping people. I am a softy, and easily taken advantage of, so...... Why not teach?

Upon discovery of something I find interesting, I have also decided to move out on my own. Well with Matt Mead of course. I live with my Dad now, which is awesome, but its time for me to get out! We are looking for an apartment up north closer to NKU (which is where I will begin my Educational Journey!). This plan, we call Operation "What the Foot", will begin in December.

I have so much to look forward to in the next couple of years. Everything is just falling into place. My job is pretty steady and easy. David Snowden & Family, I must thank you so much for all your kindness over the past couple years. Love you all!

Well I don't wanna over do this blog deal. I actually have to read a couple chapters.... tonight........later........never.... (throws book)

One more thing...........

I am a music freak, which most of you should know. So I will  share a favorite song of mine with each blog that I do.
